ETOLS, the Enterprise Technologies Open Language Solution

ETOLS is a special tool for installing and maintaining multilingual websites. Your website will be easily and quickly available in any language with a standard character set. Transformed into spreadsheets, all the original texts are available from the existing or the yet-to-be-created website. In parallel columns, the additional languages are listed. So each text can easily be translated into the foreign language, either by company staff or by external translators.

The special thing about ETOLS is that not only the contents of the website can be transferred into different languages, but also all navigation texts, menues, e-mails, even error messages and interface communication.

Our system is characterized by easy handling and maintenance. If texts are changed in the original language, this shows also in the columns for foreign languages, so that the necessary changes can be made there, too. The original data are always protected so that no “unwanted” changes can be made. Each member of staff or translator involved is only authorised for his/her language.

ETOLS can either be linked to your existing website or be integrated into a new website, no matter which software or CMS is used. At present, the system is available for all languages with a standard character set and the usual ASCII-code characters, e. g. all European languages. International companies appreciate the possibility to directly address subsidiaries, partners and customers not only in Europe, but also on the African continent (English, French), North and South America (English, Spanish, Portuguese) and in Turkey. An extension of the program to Cyrillic, Arabic and Asian characters is in progress.
